Denman Anderson is a man who wears many hats in DC. A noted scribe for blog ALL OUR NOISE, he may also be one of the better guys to know if you want to know anything about punk, hardcore, underground and indie sounds not just here, but nationally and internationally as well. As you know, we here at TGRIOnline.com are in the mixtape game now, having very successfully just dropped two volumes of Baltimore club mixes called #MOARCLUBMUSICS featuring rising young talent DJ Pierre and Murder Mark. But now, we’re taking a step in a different direction. We’ve dabbled in rock with OVER THE EDGE, our rock, punk, metal and hardcore appreciation party featuring Stereo Faith, Trevor Martin and our homies the hardcore/metal raucous yet humorous face melters Rattler, and with our ALPHA MALE MUSIC WEEK and HARD JAMS series, we’ve gotten pretty heavy into it as well. But now we’re showing and proving ourselves with Denman’s first (of what we hope will be many) mix for the site, CRUST AS F!@#!. Yeah. This mix is hardcore. Really hardcore. And if you wanted sonic proof of our determination to extend ourselves deeper into the world of punk, metal and hardcore, well, here it is. Sit down, and prepare for a sonic belting about the face and ears like NEVER before!
